ISO certification
Tested and certified: Quality management according to ISO 9001:2015
At Conrad, the highest quality applies not only to products, but also to all work processes and the entire company organisation. To prove this to our customers and business partners and to enable them to objectively and transparently assess our performance, we voluntarily had our management system audited according to the criteria of ISO 9001:2008 and were successfully certified for our quality management system in January 2011.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most widely used quality management standard in the world, recognised by well over 100 countries. The standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system independent of companies and industries: It specifies internationally applicable minimum standards that organisations such as a company must comply with when designing their processes to ensure that customers receive the expected quality. For this purpose, ISO 9001 describes the entire model and is the basis for a comprehensive quality management system.

ESD protection
Measures against electrostatic discharge
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a spark or breakdown caused by a large potential difference, which causes a high electrical voltage pulse on an electronic component or a sensitive component and can damage or destroy it unnoticed.
Components and parts can be protected from damage by external protective measures within an EPA (electrostatic protected area, ESD protection zone). Here, charges are prevented and existing electrostatic charges are discharged to earth in a controlled manner. Certain measures must also be taken for shipping electrostatically sensitive items.
On 7 November 2013, TÜV Nord certified our new "EPA" (ESD protection zone) in logistics as well as the entire ESD management system at Conrad on the basis of DIN EN 61340-5-1, thus confirming highly professional, careful handling of electrostatically sensitive components.
The prerequisite for certification is sustainable monitoring of the entire supply chain from the manufacturer to the consumer. Especially in professional business, it is therefore extremely important to offer and demand expertise and sustainability throughout the entire value chain. ESD damage is not visible from the outside and does not necessarily lead to the immediate defect of a component. Therefore, only expert and sustainable handling ensures that customers receive goods that have made their way from the manufacturer to the consumer flawlessly and undamaged.
